What is The Plaza – Wine & Craft Beer like?

Our menu evolves continuously with the seasons, drawing inspiration from both Scandinavian culinary traditions and international classics. You’ll also find burgers, salads, tapas, and shared dishes, perfect for a laid-back evening. We are passionate about Old World wines and craft beers and are happy to share our expertise so you can discover both timeless classics and new gems.

Our diverse buffet lunch is available on weekdays from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM, offering three hot dishes (including a vegetarian option), a daily soup, and a plentiful salad bar. Join us for After Work every weekday from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and don’t miss our “Skumppatorstai,” where we toast with sparkling wine, cava, or champagne!

Looking for a venue for an event or celebration? Our restaurant has a capacity of around 180 guests, and the space can be reserved flexibly for a variety of purposes. Feel free to reach out to discuss more. Warmly welcome!

What is your recommendation from the menu?

Our menu is seasonal, so we encourage you to check it regularly for new offerings. You might find your favorite dishes or exciting new flavors to try!

Who leads your kitchen? What is your food and drink philosophy?

Our head chef is Jani Pajala, but we work as a unified team where everyone contributes to creating the menus. Our philosophy is to blend food and drink into a stylish, harmonious experience. We prepare food using Scandinavian ingredients with a big heart, without unnecessary frills, and serve it in an elegant setting where you can relax and enjoy.

What is your head chef’s motto?

“Venter praecepta non audit: poscit, appellat…” — The stomach doesn’t listen to orders: it only demands and begs. (Seneca)
