Thinking about visiting Lapland this Christmas? Think again!

Sure, it might sound like the ultimate winter wonderland, but don’t be fooled. Behind all that magical charm lies a land filled with snow overload, relentless Christmas cheer, and way too much coziness. Still tempted?

1. Too much snow

Seriously, there’s so much snow that you’ll be forced to make snow angels, build snowmen, and sled down every hill you see. It’s exhausting!

2. That awful Northern lights show

The Aurora Borealis is just too beautiful, and it might completely ruin your carefully curated Christmas mood. Who needs that distraction?

3. Santa overload

Every corner has a Santa! How many Santas can one person handle? You might even start believing he’s real. Shocking.

4. Reindeer traffic jams

Forget cars—reindeer crossing the roads everywhere! How are you supposed to get anywhere on time with Rudolph and his friends blocking the way?

5. Too quiet

The peace and tranquility of the snowy wilderness are unbearable. No traffic noise, no city buzz—just the sound of nature. Horrifying, right?

6. Too many cozy fires

Every cabin has a fireplace. You’ll be trapped sitting by a roaring fire, sipping hot chocolate, and feeling ridiculously cozy. What a nightmare!

Lapland takes Christmas cheer to another level. Decorations, carolers, and general merriment everywhere. It’s absolutely relentless.

8. The temperature is too… Magical

Yes, it’s cold, but in a way that makes you feel alive. Who wants to experience that kind of wonder? Stick to the indoors, where it’s boring.

9. Snow activities are everywhere

Husky sledding, snowmobiling, ice fishing… you might actually have fun. And we can’t have that, can we?

10. It’s basically a winter wonderland

With its picturesque landscapes and enchanting villages, Lapland is too perfect. Nobody wants a Christmas straight out of a fairy tale.
