Nestled by the sea, surrounded by nature yet close to the city, Hotel Rantapuisto stands out. Originally built in 1963 as a training center for a bank, this striking building in East Helsinki retains its unique architectural charm from that era.

The hotel offers 74 rooms, extensive meeting facilities, the stylish Furu restaurant, a design lounge, and a seaside sauna with a hot tub. The beautiful natural surroundings amplify Rantapuisto’s appeal, offering expansive windows that frame uninterrupted views of the nearby forest and sea.

Room options

Our Prime Guest twin rooms are cozy 15m² spaces designed for one or two guests, featuring two 80 cm beds and views of the Furuborg Villa and surrounding forest, with a touch of the sea in sight. Renovated in 2017, these rooms come equipped with a bathroom with shower, flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi, a workstation, a kettle, and a hairdryer. Prime Guest twin sea-view rooms offer a more spacious 26m² layout with two 100 cm beds (can be combined upon request) and sweeping views of the beautiful Finnish seascape. Additional bedding can be arranged for adults or children, and the rooms are air-conditioned for your comfort.

Prime Superior rooms offer the best sea views, along with extra amenities like a fridge, coffee maker, bathrobes, and slippers. The Prime Superior twin room includes two 100 cm beds, while the Superior King room features a 180 cm bed, with space for extra bedding if needed. These rooms are also air-conditioned. Apartments are located separately from the main building, with private entrances. The one-bedroom apartments, at 40 m², accommodate 1-3 people with two 90 cm beds and a sofa bed, plus a kitchen equipped with a two-burner induction stove, microwave, hood, fridge with freezer, and tableware for six. The two-bedroom apartments, at 80 m², include a living area and a kitchen with two 100 cm beds in each bedroom and a sofa bed in the lounge, ideal for one adult or two children. Kitchens feature a fridge-freezer, microwave, induction stove, dishwasher, tableware, and kettle, and each apartment has air conditioning and a private patio.

The Nolla Cabin

Stay in Rantapuisto’s stunning landscape surrounded by Finnish design in the eco-friendly Nolla Cabin, created in collaboration with Marimekko and Nolla Company. This unique nature experience combines sustainability with comfort, operating on renewable energy and featuring elegant Marimekko textiles. The cabin includes two single beds, bathrobes, and tableware. Step outside and feel the sand between your toes as you listen to the waves. For a complete hotel experience, a Prime Guest sea-view room is also available for your stay, so you don’t have to miss out on the hotel comforts while enjoying the cabin. Note: pets are not allowed in the Nolla Cabin, and it is bookable through September 30.

Hotel Breakfast

Enjoy breakfast at Restaurant Furu, where sea views meet natural surroundings. Breakfast is included in the room rate and served from 7-10 am on weekdays and from 7:30-10:30 am on weekends and holidays.
