In the Hansa Café Bar & Brasserie, located on the ground floor of our hotel, you can experience a unique combination of history and modern hospitality.

We honor the building’s history as ambassadors of French-influenced cuisine, proudly rooted in Finnish culture.

We are located opposite the main railway station, with our main entrance just a three-minute walk away. The nearest tram stop (Ylioppilastalo) is only 100 meters away, and the nearest taxi stops right outside our main door.

The nearest parking garages are across the street: EuroPark City Forum, EuroPark Eliel, and AimoPark Stockmann.

Hotel breakfast

NH Collection Helsinki Grand Hansa’s breakfast is one of the best in the city. A rich and varied selection includes freshly baked bread, sweet pastries, and jams. The hot station features made-to-order omelets prepared by our chefs, as well as scrambled eggs made from real eggs, and our overnight oats have become a favorite among our regular guests.

Our breakfast is available to everyone, not just our hotel guests.

Hotel director’s introduction or significant person and service promise

NH Collection Helsinki Grand Hansa’s hotel director, Tom Strandberg, has over 20 years of experience in developing Finnish hospitality. He has previously served as the hotel director at Radisson Blu Espoo, Radisson Blu Aleksanteri, GLO Hotel Kluuvi, and VALO Hotel / Work. He joins Minor Hotels after a couple of years of private entrepreneurship.

Strandberg’s first tasks included leading Helsinki’s most central hotel project from construction site to operational hotel, localizing a global hotel brand to Finland, and overseeing the complete opening of the new NH Collection Helsinki Grand Hansa in May 2024.
