The high-quality rental cottages offered year-round in Sysmä are just a two-hour drive from Helsinki, near Lahti and Heinola. Located in a lakeside setting, surrounded by the tranquility of nature, these rental cottages are just a 10-minute drive to Sysmä’s shops, and various activities in the area are nearby.

Room options

Tervalepikon Torpat offers two log cottages, Taina’s Tupa and Vesa’s Villa: 120 m², with 3 bedrooms, a living room kitchen, a sauna, and 2 toilets. A smaller holiday house, Villa Ebba, is 60 m² with 1 bedroom, a living room kitchen, a sauna, and 1 toilet. The accommodations are cozy, equipped with modern amenities, and have private yards. Vesa’s Villa and Villa Ebba are also pet-friendly.

Our cottages are self-catering and each is equipped with a well-appointed kitchen. No food service is provided by the property. Catering services can be ordered through an outside provider.

In Sysmä’s center, we recommend the lunch offerings at Hotel Restaurant Uoti. Fantasia Pizza & Kebab is also located in the town center, and during summer, the area features additional outdoor dining terraces.

Distance from the center and significant landmarks

The center of Sysmä is 4-7 km away. Kammiovuori is 25 km, Päijänne National Park Päijätsalo is 12 km, and the Bikepolku mountain biking trail is 12 km away. Lahti is 80 km, and Helsinki is 188 km.

The cottages are surrounded by private outdoor trails, and in winter, these trails offer high-quality cross-country ski tracks for both classic and freestyle skiing.
